The Cabinet Makes No Difference - The Iron Hand Decides.

I threw the bones, all but one of the digits was ... yes I see it now.

The pundits are reviewing each Curriculum Vitae. But the Clinton-like Obama cabinet is easy to read; What does it do politically? Where does this move the administration? Will this turn off his base where he campained for outsiders and change?

 One bone pointed to...Regarding the cabinet appointments Obama said "Understand where the vision for change comes from first and foremost. It comes from me," Mr. Obama told reporters . "That's my job, is to provide a vision in terms of where we are going and to make sure, then, that my team is implementing it."

The bones gave me these answer:

Who these people are, and how they were selected is irrelovent . The important elements is they have stature in their respective fields. And be ready on the ground running weeks prior to the inauguration.

The prognostication - The cabinet personnel are only a means to an end. They are a vechicle to promote and move the vision of Obama. They are implementors,  to Obama who is sitting in that chair is irrelovent. They do not make major policy

The Man With The Iron HandI see Obama ruling with an Iron Hand. All major direction must comply with the overall and underlying vision. All issues must prioritize the leaders vision before any other major tasks. Beware the one that resists - only one thing is important and it will be done in the time fashion and direction as visioned..

And the T-Shirts - As long as there are plenty of photo-ops, TV shows, interviews  and video they won't worry about that shift between insiders and outsiders. After all Rahm Emanuel is from Chicago.
