Prediction # 4 (A) National Service - Going to Boot Camp

The three previous predictions are now in play. The Rant about Obama's T-Shirt Brigade comes into focus, as you will now see.

Rally First Night At Boot CampThe premise of this prediction is summarized in this Obama statement..."We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

The prediction is  so simple in its veracity. The con is so simple in its elegance.

There are currently 1.4 million people in the military. This prediction is a detailed map of how Obama intends to install a  military police state within the United States.  The Mystic the Oracle have spoken. 

In the crystal ball I see Carol. She has just arrived at the National Service Corps (NSC) for her  training period in preparation her national service commitment. During her  training period she is considered a cadet.  

Carol finds that NSC training is like a boot camp, and has physical standards. Exercise, weight training and demanding cardiovascular activities. Almost what one would expect in the military. The combination of physical activity and respective eating habits are taught, and are a cornerstone of daily boot camp activity. - 4 credit hours credited to college.

Her classes include United States Government, how it works and its duty to the citizens.  This will satisfy a college history requirement - 3 credit hours 

Social Studies - The Government Agency class is challenging, but is important, it expresses in concrete terms the Governments duties stressed in her history classes.  She studies FEMA, HUD, Medicare, Social Security, The EPA...the list is extensive. The classes outline all major benefits that are available and due our citizens, how one applies and how these services are delivered. The fact these services are available is comforting to her. 3 credit hours.

Basic Psychology - A basic psychology class is also a requirement. As all cadets will interface with citizens it is important to understand emotions and motivations. Among other things this can help the cadet control a situation if a client just does not understand the role of the government.  3 credit hours.

College Credit, College Tuition and Cash Incentives.Security - As part of the security section all cadets are required to pass a fire-arms safety course and achieve a minimum pistol range score. Cadets with a high scores will be on the team that represents their squad during the NSC Olympics.

As Phase 1 of the training ends Carol is in great physical condition, and has an new appreciation for her government. She also made new friends, had a great time at the rallys and social events. Even Billy, who was disillousand  and negative when he arrived had a smile on his face.

Carol was awarded 13 college credit hours, received a non taxable government cash grant for $2,500. After completion of the training she will also receive $4,500 in grants she can use at the college of her choice.
