Ronald Reagan - Slayer of Communism

October 27, 1964 (from "The Speech")

You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done. - Ronald Reagan

Jefferson's Corner

On Corruption and Tyranny
"The time to guard against corruption and tyranny is before they shall have gotten hold of us.  It is better to keep the wolf out of the fold, than to trust to drawing his teeth and talons after he
shall have entered." --Thomas Jefferson: Notes on Virginia, 1782.

On Interpreting the Constitution

"Laws are made for men of ordinary understanding and should, therefore, be construed by the ordinary rules of common sense. Their meaning is not to be sought for in metaphysical subtleties which may make anything mean everything or nothing at pleasure." --Thomas Jefferson to William Johnson, 1823.

The 10th Admendment to the Constitution

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Obama Should Have Gone Blacker

Last November I wrote: “This (Obama/Progressive) legislation will be hidden everywhere, in other bills, Czar expansion packages, attached to big legislation, sometime on its own. Mark-ups, re-rights, edition two, volume three, bailout, bail-bondsman everything except markdowns.”

I was writing about confusing the enemy

At that time I did not know how well I predicted it. I also did not know that I was quoting from the socialist handbook.

In 1959 Secretary of Agriculture Ezra Taft Benson accompanied Khrushchev on a US farm tour. During the tour Secretary Benson had a conversation with Khrushchev as summarized here:

Khrushchev: "We can't expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism."

“Your children will live under communism.” Khrushchev said.

“On the contrary,” Secretary Benson replied, “My grandchildren will live in freedom as I hope that all people will.”

Khrushchev then retorted: “You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept Communism outright; but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you will finally wake up and find that you already have Communism. We won’t have to fight you; we’ll so weaken your economy, until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.

Now you see Obama’s mistake. Obama does not take direction well.

Obama’s daily drivel of speeches is intended to be “small doses of Socialism” after a while people just begin to believe the brainwashing.

Obama: Insatiable ego, unbridled narcissist. Five TV shows does not equal humility.

Obama does not take direction well.

Obama lectured about Saul Alinsky at a Junior College, so I assume he has memorized the Rules for Radicals:

RULE 7: A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag. Don't become old news.

Obama does not take direction well. Obama is becoming his own enemy.

On 912 Obama was making a healthcare speech in Minneapolis. Obama looked around wondering if the audience knew where he hid the rabbit. We did.

Now you ask? WHAT DID OBAMA DO WRONG?

He forgot to feed you small doses of Socialism, I meant healthcare.

He let Healthcare drag on too long, becoming a drag. Healthcare is not just old news, Healthcare turned into a lightening rod, we could see what was going on.

As Obama was in Minneapolis wondering if we had found the rabbit, hundreds of thousands of protesters were in Washington saying, “we found the rabbit and he is hiding in his hole today.”

The narcissist has made healthcare such a big production he moved a relatively small movement of Tea Partiers into a larger and growing flood of disconcerted individuals.  He stirred the hornet’s nest.

Obama should be going blacker.Al Jolson

Obama tries to be a white president until he faces a black audience. Then the tie comes off, the swagger sets in and his voice changes. His speech become more and more like the Baptist preacher and his cheerleader pom-poms are unveiled.

Obama should be going blacker.

As a humble black president he could get through dozens of socialist type bills over the next few years. Healthcare, energy, environmental all watered down from today’s initiatives, but many with true bi-partisan support. Who could say no to an almost reasonable black socialist “progressive”.

President Obama, if you were a truly black President you could move us closer to socialism without us discovering that rabbit. Your job is to lay serious foundation legislation that can easily be altered via the courts and complementary legislation and executive orders.

Khrushchev and Saul Alinsky really wish you had followed the rules.

I think it is the narcissism.

This is really truly disgusting. I wish the race thing would be left behind and we all address each other on level of human beings trying to get through life successfully.
