To-do #3 Stop Geithner Treasury Appointment

We need to start making our voiced heard. WE have a good issue, one that is winnable. The Senate Finance Committee approved the nomination of Timothy Geithner to be Treasury secretary, but his final confirmation will probably be next week. Or will it?

You know Gietner, he is the guy that did not pay taxes and wants to run the IRS. "These were careless mistakes," Geithner told members of the Senate Finance.

Geithner as admitted to more than $40,000 worth of mistakes on his tax returns — returns he prepared himself using TurboTax . My daughter uses TurboTax. I use an accountant, but then I did not apply for the job of Secretary of the Treasury.

 WE NEED TO STOP HIS APPOINTMENT

Geithner's appointment was confirmed Monday January 26, 2008 - Obama, in a move I can never remember, had him sworn in several hours  later.

AN IMPORTANT ITEM - It was reported that all Senators switchboards were busy with both Democrats and Republications calling in and saying NO - No to a person that can't pay his own taxes running the IRS. There is hope folks.

We need to press on, obviously the Senate is not listening. We cannot let up.
