Tea Party Signs - Take Our Message To TV

LEARN WAYS YOU CAN PITCH IN ON A DAILY BASIS IN OUR "TAKING BACK AMERICA SECTION"
Well it's Wednesday afternoon and you tell your teenager to make you a Tea-Party sign. You quickly write down something snappy and a couple hours later you pile in the SUV and head down to the big city park for the protest. When you arrive you are gladdened by the hundreds of signs that are similar to yours, each with there own snappy individual message.
Their message is somewhere on the left, guess which one.
WE ARE HERE FOR TV - THINK TV MESSAGE - THINK TWITTER
We are not here for ourselves, we are here for TV and eventually have people join us, possibly people that never voted Republican before and may have even voted for Obama. It is a big tent.
We want the TV crews to be able to see your message, it does us no good if the people watching on TV or reading a website cannot unerstand the message.
Lets look at a few guidlines to consider for making your sign:
- Think about what your message is, it does not need to be earthshaking - some ideas:
- Do I Pay Your Taxes?
- Stop Wasting MY Money
- No Stimulating Me
- I am Anti Social - ist
- Small Government Wanted
Its your sign - have fun.
- Think BIG Type
- Think FEW FEW Characters (20 or less)
- High Contrast between letter color and paper
- KISS - Keep It Simple
At a ralley you are speaking to the choir, so a long story just will not be effective:
Critique - The sign at right is good, probably a bit off message. But it makes a statement, uses large type, can be seen fairly well. Last line is getting lost - she should have used 2 colors. On a "Homemade scale" lets call it aC+.
You know the sign below is bad.....I grade it af F --- It could have been an A- if it read:
STOP EXPLOITING
THE CRISIS (?)
Now troops, go out there, have a good time, be heard. Get your message on TV. Snag some new volunteers for our UKnow I Am Right movement, get them to volunteer 20 hours a year to save liberty and the American way.

After comments, e-mails and Tweets we have reviewed almost 400 ideas for Tea Party signs we have selected about 35 we like. As noted above short is better, a clean message and on topic were our concerns. WE need the person watching the TV to get the message...We are sure there are hundreds of other great ideas, but these we liked:
